Job summary

Quartzelec in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver high-value engineering projects, from business development through close-out, ensuring safety, quality and financial performance.

You will manage programmes typically valued between £150k and £10m, work with customers, suppliers and internal teams, and provide governance, risk management and commercial leadership across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience at senior level.
• Proven delivery of complex engineering projects (£150k–£10m).
• Experience in regulated industries such as nuclear, hydropower, power gen.
• Strong commercial awareness with contracts, budgets and change management.
• Leadership across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-value engineering projects from initiation to close-out.
• Ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget and contract requirements.
• Develop business cases, quotes, and project cost estimates.
• Establish governance, risk management and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
