Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of 3-7 engineers (Backend and iOS) in delivering high-quality solutions and measurable value.

You will own delivery outcomes, mentor engineers, partner with marketing, operations, analytics, engineering and product, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture focused on learning and continuous improvement in a London-based environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as an Engineering Manager leading high-performing engineers and teams.
• Backend engineering background, ideally JVM-based, guiding technical decisions.
• Experience in Fulfilment or Payments spaces with vendor integrations (Stripe, PayPal).
• Lead across full-stack and bridge BE/FE to uphold engineering standards.
• Strong ownership, delivery history, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Promote positive team interactions and continuous improvement.
