Location: Reading / Hybrid

We’re seeking a skilled Engineering Manager with proven leadership in Engineering and a strong background in the Nuclear and Defence sectors. In this role, you will drive utilisation and profitability while fostering continuous improvement across high-profile projects.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of an established Engineering Department through strategic leadership, client optimisation, and commercial direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Engineering team and ensure output aligns with company goals
• Develop and grow an established team of Engineers
• Manage and allocate Engineering resources across multiple projects
• Implement training and upskilling practices
• Recruit new team members
• Contribute to the overall direction of the Engineering Department
• Maintain and update the Engineering Library
• Ensure effective communication between clients and the Engineering Department regarding all client matters

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in Engineering project delivery roles
• SC clearance is preferable; the successful candidate must be willing to obtain DV clearance
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations
• NEBOSH certification
