Are you a Senior Engineering Leader with a strong maintenance and reliability background?

Or are you and Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering working in FMCG, food or chemical industry looking for a route into the pharmaceutical industry.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineering Manager to join a team in Liverpool – on a permanent basis.

About the organisation:

You will be joining a dynamic and fast-growing pharmaceutical company specialising in the development of sterile injectables. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a top performing engineering function and take it to the next level.

About the Job:

As Senior Engineering Manager, you will manage the activities of the Engineering Maintenance Departments to deliver high-quality services to the site. You will be responsible for managing change, leading site improvement and driving strategy on site.

  • You will provide engineering and maintenance services within budget and in line with the MHRA, FDA and Health and Safety guidelines.
  • You will develop maintenance strategies ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • You will implement continuous improvement initiatives and reliability enhancements within the Engineering Maintenance department.

About you:

You will be a qualified engineer, with a strong understanding of hands-on maintenance and reliability. Several years’ experience in maintenance or plant management, including managing personnel working on automated or semi-automated process plants

  • You will have previous experience working in a regulated industry, ideally pharma.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and EU regulatory requirements
  • Strong management skills, including budget preparation and control.
