The role

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll be a subject matter expert in engineering governance, assurance, and delivery. You will leverage knowledge across the business to support development and continuous improvement of the engineering Business Management System (BMS) Sector. Your initial project will involve engaging with the Group to implement the BMS across the Sector and assisting with ongoing improvements of the Global BMS.

Daily responsibilities include delivering BMS changes and managing internal projects to realize improvements.

You will:

• Lead BMS Migration to achieve Global BMS agility
• Lead the implementation of the Global Engineering BMS across UK Marine
• Establish ongoing maintenance and development of the engineering BMS as part of business as usual

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience

• Experience with Business Management Systems
• Experience in engineering execution aligned with System Engineering principles
• Experience in fulfilling Engineering Assurance roles

Qualifications

• An engineering degree or equivalent academic qualification in a relevant discipline
