Job summary

Innovate Skillsource Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Engineering Geologist to lead and grow a geo-environmental team in Northern Ireland. The role involves managing ground investigations, delivering geotechnical assessments and reports, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in engineering geology or geotechnical field (MSc preferred).
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership is beneficial.
• Experience in ground investigation and geotechnical interpretation.
• Proven report writing and client-facing abilities.
• Strong health, safety and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and interpret ground investigations from desk study to reporting.
• Develop conceptual site models and Phase 1/2 assessments.
• Provide geotechnical analyses and design recommendations.
• Advise on foundations, earthworks and ground improvement.
• Support business development and client engagement in NI.
