Senior Engineering Geologist

Location: Leeds LS11 5SX (with travel across the UK)

Salary: Up to £41k + package + subsistence

This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to advance their career in the geotechnical sector. Join a leading civil engineering contractor and make a significant impact on exciting projects across the UK.

The Engineering Geologist will be based in the main office in Leeds but will frequently travel across the UK to various project sites. This position involves working on a range of geotechnical projects and requires a blend of technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ground investigations and analyse ground conditions.
• Implement drilling and grouting techniques.
• Apply standard geotechnical processes effectively.
• Maintain a high level of contractual awareness and commercial knowledge.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional approach in all interactions.

Skills and Experience Required:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Limited experience within the geotechnical industry, with a basic understanding of ground conditions, drilling, ground investigation, and drilling and grouting techniques.
• A solid grasp of standard geotechnical processes.
• Commercial knowledge and experience, with a good level of contractual awareness.
• A full UK driving licence.
