Job summary

SR2 is seeking 4-6 Senior Engineers to join its growing engineering team, delivering Cloud Native solutions for enterprise clients. This role combines hands-on engineering with working directly with clients and shaping technical solutions across multiple cloud platforms.

You will design, build and implement cloud infrastructure, automation and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane, Jenkins, Argo CD and Flux, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding best

Location: UK – Remote / London office option

I'm working with our good friends who are a specialist cloud consultancy that is looking to hire 4-6 Senior Engineers to join its growing engineering team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with different clients and getting hands-on with modern Cloud Native technologies.

They work with enterprise organisations to design, build and deliver scalable cloud solutions, helping businesses modernise their infrastructure and improve the way they develop and deploy technology.

They're a close-knit, collaborative team that values technical excellence, knowledge sharing and adaptability over being a specialist in just one technology.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering cloud transformation projects, working directly with clients and helping shape technical solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, building and implementing Cloud Native solutions for enterprise clients.
• Working across different cloud platforms, technologies and environments.
• Providing technical guidance and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Leading technical discussions, solving complex problems and supporting engineering best practices.
• Contributing to technical pre-sales activities and solution design when required.

You'll have the opportunity to work with a range of technologies, including:

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane
• CI/CD: Jenkins, Argo CD, Flux
• Scripting & Programming: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, Java, Ruby

You don't need experience with everything listed above. They are particularly interested in engineers who are adaptable, technically curious and comfortable learning new technologies.

What I'm Looking For

• Strong engineering experience within Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Native environments.
• Hands-on experience with relevant cloud infrastructure, automation and container tech
• Experience delivering technical solutions and solving complex engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• The ability to take ownership, influence technical decisions and collaborate across teams.
• A genuine interest in technology and a willingness to keep learning.
