Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in small molecule pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Proven technical leadership capability (site leadership or project based) and ability to influence others.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance and consultation to Elanco's Small Molecule Network sites on manufacturing equipment and process issues, advising on optimization, design, and troubleshooting for various product forms.
• Lead technical evaluations for capital projects, product launches, business development assessments, and technology assessments across Europe and APAC sites, and assist in site master plan development.
• Coordinate capital project governance, including budgeting and forecasting, within the network, and serve as the lead technical contact for major equipment vendors.
• Develop and share best practices within the global engineering community, and mentor/coach junior engineering staff across the network to enhance technical capabilities.
• Engage directly in troubleshooting complex technical issues and mobilize other technical experts as needed to support engineering investigations.
