Job summary

Salter Grange Limited on behalf of a leading international contractor is recruiting a Senior Engineer to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. You will set out, survey and construct to design, taking a lead role in on-site engineering coordination.

You will progress toward Appointed Person (Lifting) and coordinate with design teams, subcontractors and site management, reviewing BIM models to support sequencing and clash detection while maintaining accurate technical records.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a construction engineering role.
Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification held or in progress.
Proficient with GPS, robotic total stations and levelling equipment.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying using GPS, robotic total stations and levelling equipment.
Ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Acting as Appointed Person (Lifting), overseeing lifting operations to best practice and regulatory requirements.
Coordinating with design teams, subcontractors and site management to resolve technical queries.
Reviewing AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks models to support construction sequencing and clash detection.
Maintaining accurate engineering records and technical documentation.

Salter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading international technical contractor, specialising in data centre, life sciences, residential and commercial construction across Europe, for a Senior Engineer to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany.

Our client is a well-established main contractor with a strong track record delivering complex, large-scale construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing international team on a high-value, technically demanding data centre scheme.

As Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in the technical delivery of the project, ensuring works are set out, surveyed and constructed to design and specification. You'll hold, or be working towards, an Appointed Person (Lifting) qualification, taking a lead role in engineering coordination on site.

Senior Engineer Responsibilities
