Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer with experience in wastewater networks design to join our dynamic team. With a strong pipeline of projects underway, this is an exciting opportunity to take a technical leadership role in a forward-thinking collaborative environment.

As a Senior Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design and delivery of wastewater network solutions from feasibility through to detailed design and construction, all whilst ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client requirements. You will lead a project team, work closely with clients and support the development of junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and delivering wastewater network projects include drainage system upgrades, new pipelines and new/upgraded pumping stations.

Delivery of projects for water utilities, local authorities and private sector clients.

Preparation of reports such as feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments and technical evaluations.

Managing others in the preparation of deliverables such as designs, reports and contract documents.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and also clients and contractors.

Providing technical guidance and technical assurance across all stages of project delivery.

Mentoring junior team members and supporting their career development.

Candidate Requirements:

Relevant third level degree in engineering (Level 7 or higher).

Ideally, Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.

At least 8 years relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a design role.

Possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Have an ability to manage and mentor more junior staff.

Must be able to work well under pressure and have a proven track record of meeting deliverable deadlines to client satisfaction.
