Qualifications

  • Exposure to Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) process.

Job description

Job Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support both TechnipFMC product development and project teams with technical safety and reliability expertise in order to deliver thorough and coherent risk management strategies to protect people, the environment, and company and client assets.

Job Description

  1. Advise internal and external stakeholders on the correct implementation of Technical Safety and Reliability processes to achieve ALARP outcomes.
  2. Review technical engineering documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, etc.) to prepare HAZID and HAZOP terms of reference.
  3. Scribe to facilitate qualitative and quantitative risk assessment workshops.
  4. Understand reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis, and be familiar with DNV's MAROS or equivalent software.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to run processes that identify Safety and Environmentally Critical Elements (SECEs).
  6. Understand and play a key role in the Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) process.
  7. Experience in writing or contributing to the development of Functional Safety Management Plans, Safety Requirement Specifications, Safety Analysis Reports, and Safety Manuals.
  8. Have previous experience or exposure to Bowtie Analysis, development of Performance Standards, and presentation of ALARP through due process.
