Job summary

Blue Inn Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer for a long-term project in Bristol. This role focuses on RC frame and groundworks on a large-scale construction site for 12+ months.

You will manage day-to-day site engineering activities, supervise setting-out, read drawings, carry out quality checks, and coordinate with subcontractors and project teams. A CSCS card and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer / Senior Site Engineer.
• Strong experience in RC Frame and Groundworks - essential.
• Excellent setting-out and surveying skills.
• Experience using Leica TS16 / Total Station is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Valid CSCS Card essential.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day engineering activities on site.
• Supervise setting-out works.
• Oversee engineering works across RC frame and groundworks packages.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Carry out quality checks, surveys and as-built records.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and project teams.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
