Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment is seeking a Senior Engineer to join a Corby RC Frame and Groundworks project on a long‑term freelance basis. You will lead setting out, ensure quality and compliance with the construction programme, and work closely with site management.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors, mentoring Site Engineers, and maintaining accurate site records to meet technical and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous RC Frame and Groundworks experience.
• Experience as a Senior Engineer or experienced Site Engineer.
• Strong setting out and surveying knowledge.
• Proficient with Leica equipment and AutoCAD.
• Civil Engineering degree, HNC or HND.
• Valid CSCS card.

About the Company

Our client is an established RC Frame and Groundworks contractor delivering major reinforced concrete, groundwork and civil engineering packages across the UK.

Due to a new project in Corby, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineer to join their site team.

About the Role

As the Senior Engineer, you will manage the engineering function on an RC Frame and Groundworks project, ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely and in line with the construction programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out RC Frame and Groundworks packages
• Managing quality control and site records
• Reviewing drawings and technical information
• Coordinating with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors
