Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment is seeking a Senior Engineer for an RC Frame and Groundworks project in Corby, responsible for setting out, quality control, and liaison with Project Managers and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with the construction programme.

You will review drawings, manage site records, coordinate with the team, mentor Site Engineers, and ensure works meet the required technical and quality standards while maintaining safety on a busy site in a major package across the UK.

Qualifications

• RC Frame and Groundworks project experience required.
• Senior Engineer or experienced Site Engineer background.
• Strong setting out and surveying knowledge essential.
• Proficiency with Leica equipment and AutoCAD expected.
• Civil Engineering degree, HNC or HND as minimum qualification.
• Valid CSCS card is required.

Responsibilities

• Set out RC Frame and Groundworks packages on site.
• Manage quality control and site records to maintain project standards.
• Review drawings and technical information for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors to keep programmes on track.

About the Company

Our client is an established RC Frame and Groundworks contractor delivering major reinforced concrete, groundwork and civil engineering packages across the UK.

Due to a new project in Corby, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineer to join their site team.

About the Role

As the Senior Engineer, you will manage the engineering function on an RC Frame and Groundworks project, ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely and in line with the construction programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out RC Frame and Groundworks packages
• Managing quality control and site records
• Reviewing drawings and technical information
• Coordinating with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors
• Supporting and mentoring Site Engineers
• Ensuring works meet the required technical and quality standards

About the Requirements

• Previous RC Frame and Groundworks experience
• Experience as a Senior Engineer or experienced Site Engineer
• Strong setting out and surveying knowledge
• Proficient with Leica equipment and AutoCAD
• Civil Engineering degree, HNC or HND
• Valid CSCS card
