The ideal candidate will have a background in the detailed design and refurbishment of rail structures, hold chartered status, and have experience delivering designs for contractors or directly for Network Rail. Qualifications

  • Post-chartered engineer with experience in rail structure design.
  • Supervision of engineers and BIM/CAD technicians required.

Responsibilities

  • Join the growing rail team and handle detailed designs.

Job Description:

Tony Gee and Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join the growing rail team.

We are looking for a post chartered engineer to fill the position of Senior Engineer and the suitable candidate will have experience in the detailed design and refurbishment of rail structures from bridges, to station buildings and platform extensions.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience delivering designs for contractors or for Network Rail directly. They will also have fulfilled the role of Design CRE.

  • Experience in the detailed design and refurbishment of rail structures
  • Experience delivering designs for contractors or for Network Rail directly
  • Must have fulfilled the role of Design CRE
  • PTS certificate and a valid clean UK driving license
  • Experience of steel and concrete design to Eurocodes
  • Experience in conventional computer software for the analysis of structures

Qualifications

  • Civil/ structural engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Chartered Engineer with IStructE or ICE
  • Production of design deliverables – packages of drawings, specifications, etc. and supervision of engineers and BIM/CAD technicians
