Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Glasgow seeks a Senior Engineer to join their rail team. The successful candidate will be a post-chartered engineer with extensive experience in the design and refurbishment of rail structures. You'll oversee the production of design deliverables and supervise engineering work. Required qualifications include a degree in civil/structural engineering and a charter from IStructE or ICE.

Qualifications

• Post-chartered engineer with experience in rail structures.
• Must have fulfilled the role of Design CRE.
• Experience in managing design deliverables and supervising staff.

Skills

PTS certificate

Valid clean UK driving license

Experience of steel and concrete design to Eurocodes

Experience in conventional computer software for the analysis of structures

Education

Civil/structural engineering degree or equivalent industry experience

Tony Gee and Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join the growing rail team.

We are looking for a post chartered engineer to fill the position of Senior Engineer and the suitable candidate will have experience in the detailed design and refurbishment of rail structures from bridges, to station buildings and platform extensions.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience delivering designs for contractors or for Network Rail directly. They will also have fulfilled the role of Design CRE.

• Experience in the detailed design and refurbishment of rail structures
• Experience delivering designs for contractors or for Network Rail directly
• Must have fulfilled the role of Design CRE
• PTS certificate and a valid clean UK driving license
• Experience of steel and concrete design to Eurocodes
• Experience in conventional computer software for the analysis of structures
