Senior Process Engineer

We are looking to strengthen our engineering team with a Senior Process Engineer based at our Bristol or Exeter Office with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead - Process, and your role will be to provide superior quality engineering design services to minimize risks and maximize profits on turnkey and engineering services contracts. You will coordinate the design and produce design documents and drawings, taking into account health and safety requirements, specifications, and standards pertaining to the contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Produce cost-effective design layouts: Ensure designs meet specifications and can be effectively constructed and commissioned. Consider all costs associated with the design, including design time, materials, erection, and impacts on other disciplines.
  2. Utilize standard practices: Maintain competitiveness and provide estimates and feedback for the proposals department.
  3. Develop and review procedures: Assist in developing and monitoring procedures and processes to ensure the department's continuous improvement.
  4. Coordinate designs: Collaborate with all disciplines internal and external to MWHT to ensure integrated design processes.
  5. Maintain documentation: Keep files and records throughout contract durations.
  6. Customer satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by fostering a culture where meeting client needs is key to achieving objectives.
  7. Staff development and safety: Assist in supervising staff, ensuring a safe working environment, and promoting environmental considerations in design.
  8. Waste reduction: Minimize waste from departmental activities.
  9. Health and safety: Ensure designs fully adhere to health and safety requirements.
