OAKTREE CONSULTING is seeking an Electronics/RF engineer to research, design, and develop advanced networked sensor products. You will ideate, simulate, design PCBs and antennas, prototype, and run tests to refine performance.

You will document findings and contribute to formal design reviews while enabling automated test equipment for volume production. The role requires hands-on experience with RF/ microwave design, lab automation equipment, and MCU-based signal processing.

Formación

• Degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering (Bachelor or Master) is required.
• Hands-on experience with electronic lab and automation test equipment and transceiver tech is a plus.
• Must have microwave and RF design experience using listed EDA tools and lab environments.
• Master’s/PhD is a plus; meticulous, eager to learn, and able to communicate clearly.

Job Scope:

• Research, design and develop networked sensor products through ideation, theoretical analysis, simulation, enclosure design, PCB design, antenna design, prototyping, experimentation and optimization.
• Characterize, test and evaluate networked sensor products systematically, and provide clear and logical reports and conclusions.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting and tuning of sensor products.
• Participate in product design reviews and analysis.
• Design and development of product automatic test equipment for volume production.
• Documentation and product release for volume production.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with electronic, lab and automation test equipment, and transceiver technologies are a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with any of the following is a must:
• Microwave & RF design with EDA tools (i.e., Keysight Advanced Design Systems, Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, PSpice, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mentor Graphics PADs, Altium Designer, LabView) through realization and validation.
• Sensor / Radar signal processing and algorithm development on MCUs.
• Masters / Ph.D is a plus.
• Meticulous and willing to learn.
• Enthusiastic with a balanced sense of urgency.
• Good written and communication skills.
