Job Description:

Join a dynamic team at TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Europe, a leader in motorsport and automotive innovation. We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Integration to develop mechanical and mechatronic systems for prototype and race cars.

The ideal candidate is a team player with strong analytical skills, experience in hydraulic and mechanical components, and a passion for motorsport. Collaborate with a passionate workforce and contribute to exciting projects in a stimulating environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualization and design of mechanical and mechatronic components such as hydraulics, pedals, steering, brakes, fuel tanks, and cooling systems.
  • Managing the project lifecycle from concept to testing.
  • Producing detailed designs and documentation in English.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in motorsport component design.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5, FEM, and classical calculation methods.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Experience with high-performance motorsport parts in F1, WEC, GT3, GT4, Rally, or DTM.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter and MS Office.
