We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer (m/f/d) Composite Tool Design. The successful candidates will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing tools, jigs, and fixtures for composite production, inspection, and testing. Working closely as part of a team of designers, you will produce designs and drawings and provide full documentation in English. An essential part of the role is ensuring on-time delivery of projects within budget. Be part of our research, development, and motorsport team in Cologne, Germany.

Your Skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of motorsport parts layout and high-performance component design
  • F1 experience (minimum 4-5 years) from an F1 team or supplier is highly advantageous
  • Experience with tool design technologies for structural and non-structural parts
  • Understanding of composite fabrication and machine shop operations
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and/or CATIA 3DX, solid and surface modeling; additional experience with CATIA CPD/CPM is a plus
  • Strong team player with a collaborative attitude
  • Ability to work effectively under stress and deliver high-quality results on time
  • Open-minded approach to the dynamic motorsport environment
