We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer (m/f/d) Composite Tool Design. The successful candidates will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing tools, jigs, and fixtures for composite production, inspection, and testing. Working closely as part of a team of designers, you will produce designs and drawings and provide full documentation in English. An essential part of the role is to ensure on-time delivery of projects within budget. Be part of our research and development and motorsport team in Cologne, Germany.

Your Skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • High-level knowledge and experience in motorsport parts layout and high-performance component design
  • F1 experience from an F1 team or supplier (minimum 4-5 years) is a clear advantage
  • Knowledge of tool design technologies for structural and non-structural parts
  • Understanding of composite fabrication and machine shop processes
  • Experience with CATIA V5 and/or CATIA 3DX, solid and surface design; additional experience in CATIA CPD/CPM is a plus
  • Strong team player with an open-minded approach
  • Ability to work effectively under stress and deliver high-quality results on time
  • Flexible with working hours
  • Pragmatic problem-solver with a target-oriented mindset
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written
