Job summary

RNLI invites applications for a Senior Engineer to join the Engineering Information Team. You will ensure asset information is accurate and available when needed to manage assets and deliver lifesaving services.

We seek an analytical, collaborative professional with strong data governance, experience with CAD/PDM/PLM/EAM/ERP, and a track record turning complex data into actionable insight while supporting system configuration and improvements. RNLI values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Engineering, data, information systems or equivalent qualification at level 6 or commensurate professional experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering information, technical data and asset information across lifecycle.
• Experience with engineering systems and information structures (CAD, PDM, PLM, EAM, ERP).
• Experience improving data quality, defining information requirements and applying data governance controls.
• Data analysis, reporting and visualization; turn technical information into clear insight and recommendations.
• Experience supporting system configuration, testing, integration, migration or process improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed engineering information standards, governance and data quality improvements.
• Support development of the Engineering Information Model and systems that manage engineering information (CAD, PDM, PLM, EAM).
• Use data, dashboards and analysis to provide trusted insight and support engineering and asset management decisions.
• Work across teams, systems and suppliers to deliver practical improvements, automation and digital engineering solutions.
