Job summary

BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Engineer - Electrical Engineering (Control and Instrumentation) across Barrow-in-Furness, Filton, Frimley, Broad Oak, Brough, Weymouth or Coventry.

The role focuses on through-life support, PMS integration with propulsion systems, and lifecycle expertise within a national defence programme.

Relocation support may be available; security requirements include UK residency. Collaboration with MoD and RN is essential.

Qualifications

• BEng (Hons) or MEng in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with full lifecycle of C&I systems.
• Ability to assess design and test documentation.
• Experience in supplier testing.
• Strong communication skills with TLS, sustainment and lifecycle management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Engage with MoD and Royal Navy stakeholders on TLS, integration, and sustainment aspects of PMS.
• Lead integration activities between PMS and Reactor Control Systems with Rolls-Royce and RN teams.
• Develop and maintain through-life support strategies for PMS and related systems.
• Provide input to TLS planning aligning with DE&S processes and RN policy.
• Support programme reviews on system integration readiness and lifecycle assurance.
• Identify and manage TLS risks for PMS and integrated platform systems.
