Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Engineer - Electrical Engineering (Control and Instrumentation) to support through life support arrangements and ensure effective PMS integration with platform and propulsion systems. This role offers the chance to work on a high-profile programme delivering national capability.

Qualifications

• Full lifecycle experience of large-scale Electrical, Electronic, Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems.
• Demonstrable experience with through life support concepts and governance.
• Strong communication skills for liaison with MoD, RN and industry partners.
• Ability to review design, equipment and test documentation and assess impact on availability.
• Experience witnessing supplier testing and accepting equipment for facility integration.

Responsibilities

• Engage with MoD and Royal Navy stakeholders on through life support and integration of PMS.
• Lead and support integration between PMS and Reactor Control Systems; liaise with Rolls-Royce and MoD teams.
• Coordinate through life support planning and governance to ensure alignment with DE&S processes.
• Support development of maintenance and sustainment arrangements for PMS and related systems.
• Provide specialist engineering input across the system lifecycle from requirements to commissioning.
