Role description:

Our teams are working on some of the UK's most technically challenging projects and AMP8 programmes. We are renowned for our expertise as a specialist water industry design and build contractor, trusted by prominent water companies.

We have exciting opportunities for Senior Electrical & ICA Engineers based at one of our offices across the UK, with hybrid working available. Reporting to the Principal Engineer, the role is within our Engineering Team, providing environmentally conscious, innovative, and sustainable solutions to the water industry to protect future generations. Opportunities also exist at Engineer and Principal Engineer levels.

  • Work independently and as part of a team to produce and check Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation design packages, ensuring standards meet project requirements for cost, technical, legislative, safety, and environmental objectives.
  • Coordinate designs with other disciplines, engineering teams, delivery teams, supply chain, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality design drawings, calculations, reports, and construction documentation.
  • Adhere to contractual, business, safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop experience in commercial, programme, and financial aspects.
  • Mentor and develop team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Membership of The Institution of Engineering & Technology, working towards Chartered status.
  • Experience in technical design and construction on water projects or similar industries.
  • Strong self-motivation, influencing, and management skills.
  • Knowledge of BIM, REVIT, Plant 3D, and UK Standards.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
