Job description

Role: Senior Engineer, Central Continuous Improvement

Location: Remote, Europe (flexible on country of residence within EU)

Employment: Permanent

Stanley Black & Decker is transforming its global supply chain with a focus on Continuous Improvement (CI) across manufacturing sites. The Central CI team will work closely with manufacturing leaders to deliver safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity improvements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage site-specific CI activities to ensure productivity plans (Kaizen Schedules) meet/exceed YoY targets.
  2. Lead and develop a team of Central CI Engineers within EU regions.
  3. Support identification of productivity opportunities and facilitate Kaizen activities for flawless execution.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Manufacturing experience including production, maintenance, quality, and related functions.
  • Proven track record of operational improvement.
  • Project management certification (PMP, Agile, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and CI methodologies.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar certification.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, domestically and internationally.
