Job summary

Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer / Senior Site Engineer to work on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk. The role involves setting out earthworks, utilities, and foundations, and supervising site engineering activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, liaise with subcontractors and survey teams, and maintain QA records and as-built documentation, contributing to successful project delivery on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer / Site Engineer on civil projects.
• Strong setting out experience using Total Station / Leica / Trimble.
• Experience with earthworks, utilities and foundations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Checking holding down bolts and structural elements
• Managing and supervising site engineering activities
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
• Liaising with subcontractors, survey teams, and site management
• Maintaining accurate QA records, site documentation, and as-builts
• Supporting project delivery through technical guidance and problem solving

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Senior Engineer / Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
