Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Engineer for a permanent position in the East Midlands. The role involves overseeing setting out duties, mentoring Junior Engineers, and managing site testing for an Environmental Agency Flood Alleviation Scheme. Candidates should have experience with infrastructure projects, a full UK driving license, and skills in using Leica/Geomax equipment. A First Aid qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Good and extensive setting out experience working on infrastructure projects including highways, roads, and earthworks.
• Able to work with Leica/Geomax equipment and transfer information from AutoCAD to surveying equipment.
• Full UK driving license is essential.

This will be to initially work on the Environmental Agency Flood Alleviation Scheme in Lowdham.

Responsibilities:

- Undertake day to day setting out duties with no supervision.

- Train, manage and mentor Junior Engineers.

- Manage and monitor all site sample / performance testing requirements.

- Complete hazard / risk assessment and method statements.

What We Need:

- A proactive problem solver, confident communicator who is able to liaise with a range of other proffesionals.

- Good and extensive setting out experience working on infrastructure projects including highways, roads and earthworks.

- Able to work with Leica/Geomax equipment and transfer information from AutoCAD to surveying equipment.

Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential and the successful candidate will be happy to travel throughout our Eastern region

A First Aid at Work qualification would also be desirable.

This is a Permanent role.
