Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a full time Senior Engagement Manager on a fixed term contract (12 months) as a homeworker based in north Wales. This role can be undertaken as a Secondment opportunity, subject to our agreement with your current employer.

Our mission is to use our expertise to support and champion the UK's heritage and demonstrate the transformative potential of National Lottery funding through delivering our new strategy Heritage 2033. We ensure that money from the National Lottery makes a decisive difference for people, places and communities.

Communication skills (spoken and written) at a high level in Welsh and English is essential for this role. We encourage applications to be submitted in the Welsh language. Applications submitted in Welsh and English are treated equally. Interviews will be held in Welsh and in English.

This is an exciting time to join the Heritage Fund team in Wales. The post-holder will lead on our Welsh and English stakeholder engagement in north Wales, particularly around our Heritage Place and Heritage in Need: Places of Worship Strategic Initiatives. The post-holder will also take a data led approach to encouraging new applications that take all four Heritage Fund Investment Principles into account, offering pre-application advice, organising and attending events and contributing to our marketing and communications activity.
