We have a new exciting and career defining opportunity for a Senior Research Engineer – Manufacturing, Assembly & Supply Chain – to join our growing Hydrogen Systems Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the green revolution in aviation, a project that aligns with our company mission, “To be the most Trusted and Sustainable Partner in the Sky”.
Reporting to the Principal Research Engineer for Design, you will be responsible for managing a running BOM with a Plan for Every Part; defining the manufacturing build plans and supporting the deign development (in collaboration with supply chain specialists) for the best route to realisation.
This role will be based at our Bristol GTC, however travel will be expected including occasional international.
How You'll ContributeThis is a multi-discipline role responsible for leading the manufacturing definition and execution of the Cryogenic Power distribution system demonstrator. You will be expected to support the team with the development of the manufacturing engineering definitions aligned to product design using best practice in assembly, manufacturing and the capability of the identified supply chain.
