Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited in the North West region is recruiting an Energy & Power Director to lead multi‑disciplinary projects across the power and energy sector. The role focuses on delivering major infrastructure programmes supporting the UK’s energy transition.

You will drive operational performance, commercial success and strategic growth while managing client relationships and tendering opportunities. Hybrid working and a competitive package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
• Engineering qualifications such as HNC, ONC, City & Guilds or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the successful delivery of multiple complex design-and-build projects.
• Lead and develop a team of project managers, engineers and technical specialists.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle from design and planning through to delivery and handover.
• Manage commercial performance, profitability and risk across a portfolio of projects.
• Act as the senior client interface, building long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and framework obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and business growth.
• Support business development activities, including tendering and securing new opportunities.
