Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC – A&H Group in the City of London seeks a Senior Underwriter to profitably develop and manage the Marine & Energy Liability portfolio, with a focus on Energy Liability. You will underwrite and price complex energy risks and build strong broker and internal stakeholder relationships.

With five years+ in Energy Liability underwriting, you will contribute to MEL strategy, pricing methodologies and portfolio balance while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in Energy Liability underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of Lloyd's and international markets.
• Experience with upstream, midstream, downstream and renewables.
• Excellent negotiation and commercial judgement.
• Degree educated or equivalent; ACII desirable.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite MEL business via Lloyd's and Company within authority and plan.
• Lead development of Energy Liability business across segments.
• Price complex risks, considering exposures and policy terms.
• Develop broker relationships and identify profitable opportunities.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial and Exposure Management.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain governance standards.
