Job summary

Mic helmores LLP seeks an experienced Energy lawyer to join as Legal Director or Managing Associate, based in Bristol or Exeter. You will lead on first-class energy work, deepen client relationships, and contribute to the growth of Michelmores’ Energy offering.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years post-qualification experience in energy-focused commercial or infrastructure work, strong client-facing skills and a track record in marketing energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of post-qualified UK law firm experience in a Commercial or Infrastructure team, focusing on Energy work.
• Experience advising a range of clients from fast growth/emerging companies through to large corporates.
• Experience contributing to and playing a key role in marketing initiatives and seminars

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on Power Purchase Agreements for generators and offtakers.
• Advise on licensing and regulatory aspects of electricity, gas, storage and heat.
• Lead client relationship development and contribute to development of energy offerings across the firm
