Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Senior Energy Data & Modelling Analyst on a 6-month contract (initial) in Warwick, hybrid. The role focuses on whole energy system modelling and data-driven planning for an energy organisation.

You will analyse and manage complex energy datasets, support model development, reconcile national and local data, and work with stakeholders across modelling and planning teams. Experience across DNOs, LAEP, and energy forecasting is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong experience working with energy-system data and modelling environments.
• Understanding how energy datasets underpin modelling activities and decision making.
• Knowledge of energy network data, forecasting, scenario planning or system modelling.
• Experience with DNOs, LAEP, or whole-energy-system modelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret and manage complex energy-system datasets.
• Ensure datasets are structured and aligned for modelling.
• Develop and enhance whole-energy-system models.
• Translate modelling requirements into data requirements and vice versa.
• Collaborate with modelling, planning and analysis stakeholders.
• Contribute to scenario modelling, forecasting and energy planning projects.
• Provide insight into modelling inputs and outputs.
