Our Team
Our Sustainability team helps clients measure, manage, and reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, achieving broader sustainability goals. Services include:
- City/regional carbon reduction programs
- Development of carbon management and Net Zero strategies
- Carbon footprint and GHG reporting, ESG disclosures
- Identifying energy-saving opportunities and investment support
- Green building certification for real estate projects
- Decarbonisation and heat decarbonisation plans
- Net Zero program management and delivery
Our Cities & Workplaces team is growing due to increasing demand from private and public sector organizations. We seek individuals experienced in building certification and/or real estate decarbonisation to strengthen our team.
Job DescriptionWe seek individuals with experience in Heat Network (HN) and wider Distributed Energy (DE) projects or programs. DE includes low to zero carbon heat and power networks, such as heat networks, solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage, demand flexibility, and EV charging solutions.
Candidates should have experience in project development (scoping, business case, finance, high-level technical consulting) for schemes involving heat networks, local energy networks, smart grids, battery storage, and EV integration.
QualificationsWe are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in HN and DE across various projects. Essential competencies include:
- High-quality service delivery and client management
- Consultancy experience in DE and HN projects
- Successful track record in delivering DE schemes and meeting KPIs
- Experience overcoming barriers in DE through various project stages
- Knowledge of DE technologies
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Understanding of metering, billing regulations, and government policies on HN
- Programme management and organisational skills
- Knowledge of building energy demands and relevant regulations (e.g., CP1, Part L)
Preferred skills include business development, stakeholder engagement, energy strategy development, and data analysis.
