The Opportunity
To support our continued growth in Energy, we have a new opportunity for an Energy Consultant (Electrical) to join our team in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield. You will work on developing strategies, solutions, and integrated project schemes for public and private sector clients, including government, energy developers, educational institutions, industry, and healthcare providers. Our recent projects include solar photovoltaics, electricity storage, low-temperature heat networks, low-carbon heat generation, hydrogen for transport, biomass CHP projects, energy recovery facilities, standby gas generation for data centers, energy market reserves, and more.
You will consult on net-zero solutions and decarbonization developments across various energy vectors and domains, focusing on low-carbon hydrogen, CCUS, wind, solar, new fuels, tidal energy, energy distribution, district heating/cooling, renewable electricity generation, and low-carbon heat generation, mainly in Northwest and Yorkshire regions, as well as the wider UKIMEA region. Your work will include sustainability policy development, carbon management, renewables, climate services, and asset management process optimization. You will support decarbonization master planning at estate, city, regional, and national levels, and develop integrated projects with wider teams, including bid preparation for client opportunities and funding rounds.
