Job summary

VNS in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years in IT, including 5+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Intune. You will lead desktop engineering and support within an enterprise environment, manage Windows 11 deployments, AD structure, and GPOs, and oversee patch management across devices.

The role requires strong MECM/Intune expertise, experience with VDI (Azure Virtual Desktop preferred), and deep knowledge of endpoint protection.

Qualifications

• 8+ years total work experience with 5+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Intune solutions.
• 5+ years’ experience as a system engineer.
• Desktop engineering and support experience in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience with Windows 11, Active Directory Structure, and Group Policy management.
• Experience developing and testing software packages using InstallShield or equivalent.
• Experience managing a VDI environment (Azure Virtual Desktop preferred).
• Expert level experience with End Point Protection Engineering.
• Expertise in MECM and Intune.
• Expert in patch management including BIOS/firmware updates and service packs.
• Basic SQL Server database administration.
