Senior End User Compute Lead - Windows

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior End User Compute Lead responsible for managing, troubleshooting, developing, and operating the End User Services platforms, including Endpoint Management with Zero Touch Deployment, Collaboration Tools, and Digital Signage. Knowledge of DaaS, including AWS Workspaces, is beneficial but support for further development will be provided.

This highly technical role requires a broad skill set and effective communication to ensure optimal operation of our internal IT environment. You will collaborate with global teams with specialized focuses and must adapt quickly.

There is an opportunity to lead regionally on Windows platform matters as a subject matter expert, working closely with global engineering leads and staying aligned with industry trends. You will also have chances to engage with relevant products in other areas.

You'll Work On

  • Development and implementation of new systems and solutions for the UK business
  • Providing 3rd line support for internal IT systems
  • Supporting end user devices including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android
  • Training, support, and mentorship to the EUS team
  • Maintaining and managing IT standards
  • Documenting setups and processes; influencing and designing processes for new technologies
  • Serving as technical point of contact for EUS systems
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors for system maintenance and upgrades, working with management on business solutions
  • Occasional out-of-hours support for major incidents and changes, supporting global teams as needed

We're Looking For

  • Expertise in managing and designing end user systems and services within a regulated industry
  • Experience with centralized device management using MDM tools like Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, and VMWare Workspace One
  • Knowledge of network principles and standards
  • Experience working in dispersed teams and communicating effectively across diverse audiences
  • Exposure to AWS Cloud
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to plan and manage projects, workloads, and stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
