About the job
The Senior End Point Assessment Coordinator (Internal) will oversee the administration and coordination of End Point Assessments (EPAs) at Best Practice Network for our Apprentices. This role involves managing a team of coordinators to ensure the smooth and efficient management of our apprentices EPAs with their appointed EPAO. Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer service. The Senior End Point Assessment Coordinator (Internal) will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the achievement of successful and timely outcomes for BPN apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the team of End Point Assessment Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide ongoing support training and professional development opportunities for team members.
Coordination of End Point Assessments:
Coordinate with the appropriate EPAO, Head of Delivery, Performance Managers and IQA’s to ensure effective and efficient information processing of EPAs
Oversee the scheduling of EPAs, ensuring adherence to regulatory and awarding organisation requirements.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the administration of EPAs to ensure consistency and compliance.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of EPA processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including learners, tutors, employers, and awarding organisations.
Act as the primary point for apprentices employers and tutor queries and issues related to EPAs, providing expert advice and support.
Liaise with awarding organisations and regulatory authorities to stay updated on changes in EPA requirements and standards.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure all EPA activities comply with relevant legislation, regulatory standards, and best practice guidelines.
Conduct regular audits of EPA processes and documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain robust systems for tracking and recording EPA data, ensuring data security and integrity with EPAO platform.
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of EPA data to internal and external stakeholders.
Analyse data to identify trends, inform decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and present reports on the performance and outcomes of EPAs to senior management.
Ensure certification is accurate and EPAO’s are sending certificates out in a timely manner in line within set timescales.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the EPA coordination team.
Identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement of EPA processes and systems.
Lead projects and initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of EPA delivery.
About you
Qualifications:
Degree-level education or relevant sector experience.
Relevant professional qualifications in assessment, examination, or education management are desirable.
Experience:
Significant experience in managing assessment and examination processes, preferably within an educational or training environment.
Proven track record of effective team leadership and management.
Experience in dealing with regulatory organisations and understanding compliance requirements with IfATE, ESFA and Ofqual.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Proficient in IT skills, Microsoft 365 applications
