Job summary

Brabners in Manchester is seeking a Senior Associate in Employment to advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. You will work closely with clients to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions and play a key role in developing the team and mentoring junior colleagues.

You will bring significant post-qualification experience in employment law, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

Significant post-qualification experience in employment law.
Strong technical knowledge across contentious and non-contentious matters.
Experience advising employer clients.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive and collaborative approach.
Interest in business development and growing client relationships.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

Advising employers on the full range of employment law matters.
Managing Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution.
Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, handbooks and settlement agreements.
Advising on restructures, redundancies, disciplinary and grievance matters.
Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE and due diligence.
Building and developing strong client relationships.
Contributing to business development and networking activities.
Mentoring junior team members.
