Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employment solicitor, at Senior Associate to Legal Director level, to step into a thriving Leeds-based team.

Haggerty Jaques is pleased to be working with this highly regarded international law firm to recruit a senior-level Employment Lawyer into its specialist Health Employment team in Leeds.

Why This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to become a number two to the head of the team in Leeds and to further your career within a fascinating sector.

This team works at the forefront of health-related Employment matters affecting both public and private sector clients. The matters the team advises on are often complex and high profile. There is a huge amount of variety on offer in this role across contentious as well as advisory work.

The firm is continuing to go through a significant period of investment and growth and the Employment Health team in particular is seeing real growth and success.

This role does not require previous healthcare sector experience – although it would naturally be useful. It could therefore be the perfect role for an employment lawyer who would like to work in a specialist and continually growing field.

Whilst the role can be performed on a full-time basis, some senior members of the team work part-time, and any lawyers looking to do the same would also be encouraged to apply.

The Work

This role offers exposure to cutting-edge employment law matters within the healthcare industry, covering both public and private sector clients. You’ll work with:

NHS Trusts and primary care providers, including GP practices Private healthcare providers such as fertility clinics and MedTech companies Health sector organisations dealing with evolving regulatory and employment challenges What’s On Offer?
