Job summary

TLT LLP’s Employment team is seeking a Senior or Managing Associate to join a busy national practice with offices in Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh or London. You will work on high‑quality employment matters and supervise junior colleagues, with a focus on defence of Tribunal claims and TUPE, as well as drafting and advisory work.

The role offers hybrid working in a leading national practice, with a track record in Chambers UK and Legal 500, and client work spanning retail,

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE in an employment team.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness with client relationship experience.
• Ability to develop junior team members and contribute to business development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high quality employment work including disciplinaries, grievances, restructurings and redundancies.
• Lead on Employment Tribunal claims (mostly for Respondents).
• Provide employment law support in TUPE matters, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts.
• Draft contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with Partners and the wider national Employment team.
