The HR department in the UK consists of over 100 people. We have specialist teams in Employer Brand, Recruitment, Early Careers (EC) Recruitment and Development, Learning and Development, Operations, Systems and MI and Reward. The HR department are based in offices across the UK, working as one team to deliver a holistic service to our fee earning and business services groups.

The Role

As a critical part of our firm, you'll collaborate with supportive and talented colleagues to successfully deliver our services and help us to continuously improve. You'll apply your ambition and self-starting attitude to deliver exceptional outcomes that make a lasting impact on the firm.

This role has been designed to support our global recruitment activities, actively managing our global Employer digital footprint, brand, and communications. The role will have responsibility for designing and implementing online marketing campaigns, managing the careers website, attending our campus events, managing our social media presence, working with key suppliers, and developing global collateral with counterparts.

Working closely with Recruitment Teams globally to understand application pipelines, the variety of programmes and hard to fill roles, this role will proactively make suggestions to boost activity where we look to improve applications, while ensuring the integrity and consistency of our Employer Brand.

The role will report directly into the Early Careers and Employer Brand Lead and be supported by an Advisor and Early Careers Recruitment Coordinator. This role will work closely with our Recruitment and Development team, our Corporate Responsibility & Inclusion (CR&I) team, as well as our Corporate Communications team, key stakeholders from the business including our Training Principal and HR Partners.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Careers Website Management:

  • Proactively review and manage the global careers website, updating content appropriately, in line with the Clyde & Co brand.
  • Responsible for representing our Corporate Responsibility & Inclusion activity across our Recruitment platforms to communicate our culture effectively
  • Ensure all roles and programmes are advertised to ensure maximum impact and influence with Careers websites, Careers Services, sponsored societies and delivering targeted digital campaigns.
  • Conduct on-going research and analysis into our target audience to ensure our recruitment website and activities are relevant and stand out in a competitive marketplace.
  • Ensure all active regions with early careers programmes are represented on careers site with dedicated pages hosting up-to-date programme information
  • Continuous development of the Learning Hub, collaborating with relevant teams globally to ensure dynamic and applicable content
  • Maintain analytics reporting on website traffic and engagement
  • Manage Recruitment intranet sites (Clyde Connected) alongside supporting other global regions.

Social Media Channel Management:

  • Deliver monthly global comms plan - proactively planning social posts in advance and in collaboration with Corporate Communications, CR&I and Recruitment teams.
  • Producing creative concepts to innovate and attract Gen Z applicants.
  • Integrating the firms' values and culture through and newly formed EVP.
  • Monitor digital and social media daily, identify relevant and shareable content from key stakeholders, manage responses to comments and questions and identify opportunities to increase brand presence.
  • Develop target lists of internal influencers in key departments across the firm and ensures content delivered is relevant and engaging to increase Clyde & Co's brand presence.
  • Advise on paid media targeting for owned social media channels to ensure key talent pools are targeted.
  • Analyse and apply learnings from content on social media platforms and make effective decisions based on the data.

Collateral Creation & Brand Guardianship:

  • As employer brand guardian, ensure all Recruitment assets used across the firm are in line with the employer brand and identify opportunity to create templates
  • Support global teams with event stand and collateral design for events
  • Create assets for use both internally and externally e.g. Firmwide email communications, adverts and newsletters
  • Create and manage content for global careers Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with our marketing suppliers and partners, negotiating new deals with media partners and developing new content for online and print channels.
  • Work closely with Advisors/Coordinators to understand recruitment timelines, pipelines and opportunities for external branding.
  • Meet regularly and building relationships with the Corporate Communications teams to ensure our global brand is correctly represented outside of the firm.
  • Update stakeholders of attraction progress during campaigns.
  • Attend internal and external events to improve knowledge.

Data Management & Analysis:

  • Work alongside team members to manage a candidate keep warm strategy via CRM tool.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on recruitment statistics. Such as, Beamery conversion analysis, website back-end data, LinkedIn statistics etc.
  • Work closely with the Early Careers and Employer Brand Lead to analyse the reports, identify and make recommendations for improvements.
  • In partnership with Early Careers and Employer Brand Lead manage budgets across media, marketing, and merchandising

Events:

  • Creation of UK early careers events and target University strategy
  • Management of UK early careers supplier events
  • Management of merchandise and logistics
  • Management of trainee/paralegal/fee-earner volunteers to represent the firm and support with early careers attraction activities
  • Ownership of event marketing, participant communications and databases for in person and virtual proprietary events e.g. insight days, presentations and workshops.

Essential Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who:

  • Experience in running an Employer Brand digital marketing cycle is essential (website, communications, social media, marketing).
  • Previous graduate or early careers recruitment experience would be advantageous.
  • Confident and personable, with the credibility to act as a strong brand ambassador for the firm.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deal with pressure.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Responsive to tasks with a can-do attitude.
  • A strong team player with an adaptable and flexible approach.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent organisation, analytical and administration skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
