Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis Group is seeking an ER Specialist to provide expert advice on employee relations matters. You will support early resolution of issues, ensure fair handling of cases, and contribute to a proactive ER approach across the organisation. Collaboration with HR partners and union engagement will be key to success.

Strong ER expertise, sound judgement and the ability to manage sensitive information are essential. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing a broad range of ER casework including disciplinary and grievance.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Ability to build credible relationships and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
• Experience in a unionised or representative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead on a broad range of ER casework including disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence.
• Provide clear, balanced advice to managers and HR colleagues.
• Coach managers to build confidence and capability in people issues.
• Analyse case trends and contribute to ER insight for targeted interventions.
• Contribute to ER policy development and guidance.
• Collaborate across HR to align ER insight with workforce priorities.
• Maintain robust case documentation and governance.
• Engage with Trade Unions to support constructive industrial relations.
