Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct work environment investigations for a region and segment of Fortive Operating Companies, in a timely, thorough, and objective manner.
- Prepare and deliver investigation reports, recommendations, and corrective actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement employee relations processes, programs, and policies to foster a positive and respectful work culture.
- Provide coaching and guidance to HR teams, people leaders, and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, feedback, and other employee relations topics.
- Partner with other HR functions such as learning and development, inclusion, diversity, equity, and total rewards to address employee relations matters systematically.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics, providing insights and solutions to leadership to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Design and deliver employee relations training and education to relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluate and lead opportunities for policy harmonization related to investigations where appropriate.
- Assist with global crisis management in collaboration with security, legal, and communications teams.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging issues in employee relations and HR.
- Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience, with 7+ years of HR investigations experience across multiple countries in EMEA, and expertise in employee relations and HR.
- Experience with conducting work environment investigations and strong knowledge of employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- High professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, capable of handling sensitive situations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEI is preferred.
- Fluency in English and at least one of German, Dutch, French, or Spanish, both written and verbal.
