Senior Employee Relations Manager

Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead their ER function and provide strategic guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, values-driven business and shape the future of their employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of consistent and effective employee relations case management support to managers and employees.
  • Coach and support line managers on the full spectrum of ER issues
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of people policies and processes.
  • Manage and coordinate responses to external employment claims, balancing legal and business risks appropriately.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including managing colleague consultation processes.
  • Manage and develop a small team of ER specialists

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and proven experience managing complex ER cases.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to operate independently and deliver results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Adaptable and calm under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised, with effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Confident in making sound, balanced decisions that align with both business and legal considerations.
