Job summary

Airedale General Hospital, part of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic staff nurse to join the Emergency Department team. You will support nurses in patient care and help drive the Trust’s Emergency Care Standards and service development in a busy, acute setting.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC pin.
• Significant post-registration experience, with urgent / emergency care.
• Complete ED clinical skills set.
• Level 1 National Major Trauma Nursing Group Competencies.
• Participating in the training & assessing of students & new starters.
• Level 2 RCN National Curriculum & Competency Framework.
• Understanding of clinical audit and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Emergency Department nursing team in the care of patients.
• Assist in the facilitation of the Trust's Emergency Care Standards and service development.
• Contribute to development opportunities and progression within emergency nursing.
