Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Middle Grade level Emergency Medicine clinician (Tier 4 / ST4+) for progression toward specialist registration. The role involves undertaking FRCEM examinations, building the EM portfolio, and contributing to emergency department leadership and activities.

You will work under a national SAS contract with annual job plan meetings to discuss direct clinical care and supporting professional activities, ensuring alignment with CESR

Qualifications

• Complete MRCEM or equivalent EM examinations.
• Evidence of Emergency Medicine portfolio requirements including management portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage adult and paediatric presentations in the Emergency Department.
• Prepare CESR portfolio for submission and respond to portfolio requirements.
• Attend yearly Job Plan meeting to agree programmed activities (PA) with manager.
