The Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH Portland) is a leading IVF clinic located in central London, consistently achieving one of the top live birth rates in the country. We are now seeking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our embryology team and provide high quality treatment services to our patients.
The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to all associated aspects of this work within a quality management framework. In addition to laboratory work, you will also be involved in communicating with patients, arranging appointments, record keeping and data entry so communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Senior embryologists are also expected to be part of the training program for our junior/trainee embryologists.
For a Senior Embryologist position, a minimum of 7 years of experience, ICSI training and HCPC Registration are required. We will consider other applicants for an Embryologist position if they are ICSI trained and in the process of obtaining their HCPC registration. Trophectoderm biopsy skills are desirable, but training will be provided to the right applicant. Day to day working with potentially biohazardous material is an accepted part of the job therefore the successful candidate must be technically able, safety conscious and risk aware.
The department will be looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, has an enquiring mind and the necessary communication skills to work both within a large team and with the general public. The clinic provides seven days a week service and participation in a weekend roster will be required (usually 1 in 4).
Salary will be competitive and based on experience/skills.
